Homemade Pickled chillies

Surprisingly homemade pickled chillies are very easy to make at home. It turns out to be perfect as store bought bottles. The good thing about it is that we can make it according to our taste. Usually jalapeno chillies are used to make pickled chillies but we can use any big chillies available with thick skin or chillies for pickles. Chillies can be chosen according to personal preferences as in spicy or medium spicy.

First of all wash and dry the chillies completely. After it is completely dried up, cut it into thick slices.

Now combine water, vinegar, sugar, salt and garlic cloves in a pot and put it for boiling. When it starts boiling add the prepared chillies to it and keep on stirring until the chillies change it's colour to olive green.

Switch off the stove and let the mixture cool down at room temperature. After it cools down completely transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the fridge. These chillies can stay in the fridge up to two to three months.

Pickled chillies are used as topping on pizza, sandwiches, burgers or even it can be chopped and added to any dips or sauces.
