Tornado Potatoes

Wash all the potatoes.

Insert a wooden skewer into the bottom of each potato and gently push it all the way through to the top. Working in a spiral motion from one side to the other, hold a sharp, thin knife at an angle and cut in the opposite direction you are turning the skewered potato, cutting all the way to the skewer.

Gently fan out each potato down the length of the skewer, until you have an even gap between the slices.

Soak them in water for 10 minutes.

Take a bowl. Add the ingredients for batter and make a slurry. It should not be too thick or too thin.

Coat the potatoes with the slurry.

Heat oil in a Pan. Once the oil is hot, add the potatoes. Fry them on medium flame until they turn golden brown.

Mix all the spices for seasoning and sprinkle it on the potatoes.

Garnish with mayonnaise and chopped coriander leaves. Enjoy!!
