Ingredients

40 to 45 minutes
  • 1 3/4 ozfresh mint leaves (50 grams)
  • 1 3/4 ozfresh cilantro (50 grams)
  • 3 1/2 tbspplain yogurt (50 grams)
  • 2-3 tbspginger and green chili paste
  • 2 tspchickpea flour (besan)
  • 1 1/8 lbspaneer (about 500 grams)
  • 1/2 tspdried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 2onions
  • 2green bell peppers
  • 2tomatoes
  • 1 tspred chili powder
  • 1/2 tspMSG (optional)
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspdried mango powder (amchur)
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 2 tsppaneer tikka masala
  • 2-3 tbspmustard oil

Steps

40 to 45 minutes

    First, toast 2 teaspoons of chickpea flour in a frying pan until it changes color. Then, chop the onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and paneer and set aside.

    Next, take a blender jar and add the mint, cilantro, green chilies, ginger, and 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Blend into a smooth paste. In a large bowl, add this mint-cilantro paste along with the toasted chickpea flour, dried mango powder, garam masala, dried fenugreek leaves, yogurt, lemon juice, MSG (if using), red chili powder, paneer tikka masala, and salt to taste. Mix well to make a batter. Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and paneer to the batter and mix gently to coat everything evenly.

    Let it marinate for 30 minutes. After marinating, thread the paneer, onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers onto skewers. Lightly grease with a little oil. Heat a grill pan, add a little oil, and grill the paneer tikka skewers until golden and cooked through.
