Ingredients

8hours+45 mnt
4 servings
  • 1 tbsp dry peas
  • 1 tbsdry dal (broad beans)
  • 1 tbsp dry kala chana(chickpeas)
  • 1 tbspdry lobia
  • 1 tbsp dry red dal
  • 2 tspginger garlic and green chillies (crushed)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 4 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2Raw Bananas
  • 2medium size potatoes
  • 1 BowlMuthiya
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1medium size Brinjal
  • 1yum
  • To make Muthiya
  • 1 BowlBesan(Gram flour)
  • 1/2 BowlFenugreek leaves
  • 1 tspginger garlic (crushed)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • as neededOil to fry

Steps

  1. 1

    To make Muthiya, mix all Muthiya ingredients together. Make a hard dough. Take a small portion and give shape like Muthiya and fry on medium-low flame. Keep it ready.

    Soak all the dry ingredients for overnight or minimum 8 hours. Chop all vegetables into big pieces.

    Take a heavy bottom cooker. Add oil, crushed ginger garlic and green chillies and asfoitida. Saute for some time. Add red chilli powder turmeric powder and Garam masala

    Now add all soaked grams. Add vegetables.

    Add fried Muthiya. Salt and half glass water. Close the cooker and give 5-7 whistles. Let it cool. Open and mix it softly.

    Serve with Roti or Puri or Paratha
