Sift flour in a large bowl add sugar and salt. Mix and keep aside.

Dissolve yeast in warm milk and stir. Add egg and whisk all together. Cover and set aside. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add in the wet ingredients (yeast mixture)

Mix until you form a dough. Message in butter. Beat and mix till you have a soft dough on your work surface

Transfer dough into a lightly greased bowl. Cover and keep in warm place till it double in size

Deflate the dough and work the dough for some time again

Divide the dough into small round balls

Roll each ball long. Cover and allow it to rise again

Finally, fry in hot oil over medium heat until brown on both sides. Drain serve and enjoy. You can also make the filled version by piping your desired filling onto the dough
