Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  1. 3pork paupiettes (stuffed pork rolls)
  2. 1 packagebacon pieces (about 5 oz / 140 grams)
  3. 1 tablespoonsour cream or crème fraîche
  4. 1onion
  5. Margarine
  6. Oil
  7. Water
  8. Salt, pepper
  9. Onion powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot over low heat, add margarine, oil, and the pork paupiettes. Season with pepper and onion powder.

  2. 2

    Add a little water once the margarine has melted away.

  3. 3

    Peel and dice the onion.

  4. 4

    In a skillet, sauté the onion with the bacon pieces until golden.

  5. 5

    Once the pork paupiettes are cooked, add the bacon and onion mixture to the pot. Stir in the sour cream or crème fraîche.

  6. 6

    Let simmer over low heat until the sauce becomes creamy.
