Ingredients

  1. 3onions
  2. 2 cupsgram flour (besan)
  3. 1 tspred chilli powder
  4. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  5. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1 tspcarom seeds
  7. 1 pinchasafoetida
  8. as requiredSalt
  9. 2 pinchesbaking soda
  10. 3,4green chillies
  11. 1 cupwater
  12. 2 cupsoil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Thinly sliced onions, and chop green chillies, now transfer in a mixing bowl add gram flour and all the above-mentioned spices.

    Now by gradually adding water in the flour to make a smooth batter, the batter should not be too runny nor too thick, sprinkle the baking soda mix it well, and let it rest for a while.

    Now place a deep bottomed pan over medium flame and let the oil heat, once the oil is hot, add a spoonful of batter in it & fry the fritters until they are golden brown. Once done take them out on absorbent paper to soak up the excess oil. Serve these hot with a dip of your choice.
