Bhindi curry is a popular Indian dish made with ladies fingers, onion, tomato and spices. It is mildly spicy and full of flavors. It is best enjoyed with chapathis.
Steps

Cut bhindi/ladies fingers into small pieces.

Take a tawa put chopped bhindi, add 2 tsp oil and fry on medium flame until the stickiness of the bhindi goes.

Now take a pan and heat oil. Add chopped onion and chopped tomato.

Fry onion and tomato for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric and salt to taste.

Now add 3 tsp tamarind pulp and cook for 2 minutes. Then add 3 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder and 2 tsp garam masala powder.

Cook for 2 minutes and get the consistency as shown in the picture below.

Now add 3/4 cup of water and allow it to boil.

Then add the fried bhindi and mix well. Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 6-8 minutes.

Bhindi curry/ ladies finger curry is ready to be served.

Serve it with chapathi.
