Ingredients

  • Farali Dhokla flour
  • 2 cupsama rice
  • 1/2 cupsabudana
  • Farali Dhokla
  • 1 cupfarali dhokla flour
  • 1 cupcurd
  • 1/8 Cupwater
  • 1 teaspoonginger - green chilli paste
  • Rock Salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspooneno fruit salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper powder or methiya masala powder
  • For tempering
  • 3 tablespoonoil
  • 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoonwhite sesame seeds
  • As neededSome curry leaves

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    For farali dhokla flour   In a mixture jar, add sama rice and sabudana and grind into a coarse powder.
    Store into airtight container

    For Dhokla Soak dhokla flour with curd for 30 minutes.

    Now add little water and make dhokla batter consistency.
    Then add ginger - green chili paste, and rock salt. Add 1 tsp eno and mix it into one direction.

    Pour batter into grease mold and sprinkle black pepper powder or methiya masala powder on it.
    steam dhokla for 20 minutes on medium flame.

    Take out steam dhokla from steamer and cut into pieces.Now in a pan, add oil, cumin seeds, white sesame seeds, curry leaves for Vaghar. Pour vaghar on dhokla.serve hot Farali Dhokla with green chutney
