1 cupsamak rice
3 cupswater
3boiled potatoes
1 tspjeera
To tasteSalt
2tomatoes
3Green Chillies
1 tspkashmiri lal mirch for colour
1/2 tspamchoor powder
1/2 tspblack pepper powder
2 tspghee

Steps

Firstly wash samak rice 2-3 times and kept aside..

Now take a kadhai,add ghee add jeera,,now add tomato and green chillies..cook until gets soft..now add salt,pepper and kashmiri lal mirch..add boiled potatoes..

Now add washed samak rice and add water.

Now cook until all water gets soaked..and your vrat upma is ready...enjoy with dahi and salad..
