Ingredients

  • 250 gmmaida / all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupSugar
  • as neededdry fruits (Pistachio,almonds, raisins)
  • 1/2 tspchoti Elaichi(green Cardamom) powder
  • Pinchsalt
  • as neededGhee for deep frying and moian

  1. 1

    Take a maida add a pinch of salt.Now add ghee for moian and rub maida with ghee between the two palm till ghee mix tharougly.

    Now knead maida into a soft dough with lukewarm water.keep aside.

  3. 3

    Now coarsely grind all the dryfruits.Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.

    Make a lizaam or slurry of maida and water and keep aside.

  5. 5

    Now fill the poori with dryfruit mix and make like a momos by applying slurry to the edges to seal it.

  6. 6

    Make all the modaks.

    Now take ghee in a wok and heat it and deep fry all the modaks to golden brown.
