Bread Rasmalai
Steps
- 1
Boil the milk. Then add chopped pistachios, almond & cashews to it. Mix everything well. Now add the kesar strands, mix it and wait till the milk is reduced to half the quantity.
- 2
In between add a tsp of desi ghee into the boiling milk. This will enhance its flavour & taste. You can even fry the dry-fruits in ghee and add it to the milk instead of directly chopping them & adding them to the milk. Now till the milk gets reduced to half, cut the bread slices using cookie cutter or any round-shaped thing as shown in the image below.
- 3
Now when the milk is boiled to half add sugar & cardomom powder, mix it well & cook for another 2 to 3 mins. Then switch off the flame and let it cool down. When the kesar milk comes to the room temperature, refrigerate it for about 2 hours.
- 4
Remove from the refrigerator after 2 hours. Now for plating, put the bread slices in the kesar-milk, dip it once and plate it over the serving plate. Do the same with the remaining bread slices. Now pour nearly 1/4th cup of kesar-milk over the milk-dipped bread slices. Garnish it with some chopped pistachios & kesar... & serve it chilled..
