Atta pinni
Kids love laddoos and what a better way to feed them heathy Gond and dry fruits as the winters set in.
Steps
- 1
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a wok and fry the Gond till they puff up. Remove aside and break into pieces in mortar or blend in a mixer, I used the latter.
- 2
Take remaining ghee in same wok and add the flour to it and roast on low heat mixing it often.
- 3
Chop the almonds and cashews into small bits.
- 4
After the flour has turned into a brown shade and aromatic, take it off the gas.
- 5
Add powdered sugar, Gond, cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits and mix all well.
- 6
Shape into laddoos when the mixture is still warm.
