Salt dough Christmas ornaments *NOT EDIBLE JUST A KEEPSAKE FOR YEARS TO COME FOR THE TREE*
SUCH A FUN KEEPSAKE PROJECT TO DO DURING THE HOLIDAYS!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 225. Mix the salt and flour then mix in water.
- 2
Roll onto floured surface. Roll in ONE direction with a rolling pin to avoid air bubbles. Use desired cookie cutters and chit out shapes and use a straw to poke a hole in the top of each one so you’re able to hang them with ribbon after you bake them.
- 3
Paint them as Desired with acrylic paints and glitter. You can also do circle shapes and do your kids or pets handprints/paw prints or nose prints.

Better than Salt Dough Holiday Ornament Clay Better than Salt Dough Holiday Ornament Clay
Non-edible recipe for making ornaments for holidays or any other variety of craft for any occasion. Not gonna take credit for the original recipe. I found that online. I added the color and glitter options though. Lol. This is soooo smooth and soft, easy to work with, and not grainy like salt dough always seems to be. I do always get some cracking, but I feel the end result is just better than salt dough overall. I love it. StephieCanCook -

Christmas Bread Wreath Christmas Bread Wreath
I always make this wreath for Christmas. In Step 3, weigh the dough and divide it precisely. Make the dough ropes an even length and thickness so that you can make the wreath even more beautiful. Dry the bread really well after baking to make a hard decorative wreath. You can keep the bread wreath if you store it with a drying agent. You can keep it for years unless it grows mold. Have a go at making your own lovely Christmas wreath. Recipe by Kaotan mama * cookpad.japan -

A White Christmas Tree Made of Bread A White Christmas Tree Made of Bread
Last Christmas season, I saw a beautiful Christmas tree made out of bread on the diary of another COOKPAD member "Renpasu"! She wrote that she covered a cone made out of cardboard with aluminium foil, wrapped the bread around it, then baked it standing up... and so on. I think she used bread for the decorations too? I used cut-out cookies instead and combined the tree with a drinking glass to give it more height. For the cookie decoration, I referred to a cookbook. The bread wreath dough I used has 240 g bread flour, 60 g cake flour, 4-4.5 g dry yeast, 12 g sugar, 6 g salt, 150 g water, and 36 g shortening, referring to this blog post (in Japanese):http://blog.goo.ne.jp/from-my-kitchenFor the cookie dough - I'm still experimenting with different recipes. I may edit this later after my results. Recipe by Ranpuai cookpad.japan -
