Christmas Bread Wreath

I always make this wreath for Christmas.
In Step 3, weigh the dough and divide it precisely. Make the dough ropes an even length and thickness so that you can make the wreath even more beautiful. Dry the bread really well after baking to make a hard decorative wreath. You can keep the bread wreath if you store it with a drying agent. You can keep it for years unless it grows mold. Have a go at making your own lovely Christmas wreath. Recipe by Kaotan mama *

Steps
- 1
Put all the ingredients in a bread machine and turn on the switch. Knead for 15 minutes.
- 2
Leave to rise for 30 minutes. Then divide the dough and roll into balls. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
- 3
Shape the dough. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions if you are braiding it in 3 strands; 5 equal portions if you are braiding it in 5 strands, and so on. Roll each portion into a rope of equal length and braid. Shape into a wreath and pinch the ends to seal.
- 4
Skipping the 2nd rising, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F/190℃ for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 5
When it's done, take out from the oven and leave it to cool on a wire rack overnight to dry.
- 6
Decorate the bread when it's completely dry. Stick ribbons, poinsettia, pine cones, etc. on the bread with adhesive bond to make it a pretty wreath!
- 7
It's also lovely if you make small bread wreaths to decorate a Christmas tree .
