Christmas special tried my hands at cookies. Do try these teatime cookies

In a bowl add butter, honey, and sugar. Whisk well for a creamy consistency.

Add wheat flour, maida, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, salt. Mix well.

The texture of the mixture will be coarse/crumbled. Add milk to it and mix. Do not knead the dough.

Wrap the mixture in a sealed plastic bag and place it in the fridge for 30 mins.

After 30 mins place the dough on a rolling pin and roll over the plastic.

Cut the dough in various shapes with the cookie cutter.

Preheat the Kadai with salt for 10 mins. Place the cookies on a greased plate and bake for 10-12 mins. Let the cookies cool down after baking.

Mix the icing sugar and milk to make a thick running liquid. Add the melted butter. Tip - the butter will help the liquid sugar to set.

Add food color to the sugar mixture for decorative garnish.

Dip the cookies slightly upside down in the colored sugar liquid.

Let the cookies and the sugar liquid set. Garnish with tiny sugar balls.
