Steps

Firstly soak lemon size tamarind in hot water for 15 minutes.

In the meanwhile cook pigeon pea in the cooker for 4 whistles.

Now in a mixer jar take 1 green chilli,4 garlic cloves n 1 tomato and make a puree.

After 15 minutes done take a kadai put 3 tbsp oil.

Once the oil gets heated add asafoetida and mustard

Once the mustard starts splitter add tomato pure and tamarind pulp

Mix them fr 2 minutes and add turmeric powder and rasam powder adjust this as your spice

Let them boil for 5 minutes

Now add cooked and mashed pigeon pea and salt to it

Boil it fr 5 minutes..

Switch off the flame and enjoy with hot rice 🍚
