I was trying to think of a way to make easy cakes using some delicious matcha chocolate. It turned out as a simple cake using baking powder. It's simple and yet stunningly tasty!

Finely break the chocolate and combine with the milk. Microwave for a minute to melt and mix.

Combine the softened butter and sugar. Add the mixture from Step 1 and heavy cream. Mix thoroughly.

Combine the ● dry ingredients and sift into the bowl of ingredients from Step 2. Mix well.

Also add the finely minced walnuts. Grease a cake pan with butter and pour in the mixture. Tap the bottom on a flat surface to remove air bubbles.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in a 170℃ oven. Let it cool without removing from the pan.

Sprinkle a generous amount of matcha on top. Top with softly whipped matcha cream.
