Easy Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Sauce

This is the first gnocchi I've made and I know that it still needs improvement, but I think I still did a fairly nice job.

Mash the potatoes thoroughly while they're still hot. I think that straining the mash potatoes through a sieve will help make them smoother, too. Recipe by Takoharu

Ingredients

  1. 2Potatoes
  2. 150 gramsBread (strong) flour
  3. 50 gramsGorgonzola cheese
  4. 10 gramsButter
  5. 200 mlHeavy cream

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and microwave to cook. Mix in the butter and mash while they're still hot.

  2. 2

    Add the bread flour and knead well. Roll up into small balls and press flat with a fork. Cook in boiling water. The gnocchi is done when they float up to the top.

    Put the heavy cream and gorgonzola cheese into a pan. Simmer until the cheese melts completely.

    Mix the gnocchi into the sauce and you're done.
