In a blender, add semolina, all-purpose flour, sugar, warm water, salt, grated coconut and blend well to form a smooth paste. Then add yeast and coconut water and again blend. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour in a warm place for fermentation.

Now the batter is ready. Heat the pan, when hot, add a spoon of the batter. Holes will appear. Cover and cook the appam. Now it is ready.
