Wheat roomali roti with bottle gourd curry

Take bottle gourd. Peel off the skin, wash and chop in to small pieces

Then chop onions, tomatoes and green chilli

Pour oil in a pressure cooker. Put cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, curry leaves and give a stir

Then add onions, green chilli and fry nicely. Now add tomatoes and for nicely. Turn off the flame.

Grind all these ingredients to a fine paste

In the same cooker pour oil add jeera powder or seeds. Put the paste and fry nicely. Add bottle gourd,all the masala powders, salt and turmeric powder

Pour water and cook for 2 whistles. Once the steam is settled open the pressure cooker. Now add coconut paste

Mix well, cover it with a lid and cook for 5 minutes in low flame. Then open the lid.

Add mint and coriander leaves. Allow it to boil for a minute and turn off the flame

Curry is ready to serve with roti
