I wanted to try making chocolate truffles that melts in your mouth.

Chocolate doesn't do well with water, so please be careful.
If you have chocolate left over that hasn't melted in Step 5, prepare hot water at around 60 ℃, and melt the chocolate over it.
To warm the knife, pour hot water over it and wipe dry before use. (Be careful not to burn yourself.) Recipe by cocoko

Ingredients

  1. 100 gramsBaking chocolate (sweet)
  2. 40 gramsHeavy Cream
  3. 20 gramsButter (unsalted)
  4. 5 mlGrand Marnier (orange liquer)
  5. 1Cocoa powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Prepare the ingredients. Mince the chocolate so that it melts easily.

  2. 2

Put the heavy cream in a pot and heat. Stop the heat just before it comes to a boil.

  3. 3

    Add the butter and melt.

  4. 4

Heat on low again, and before it comes to a boil, remove from the heat and cool.

  5. 5

Add the chocolate and melt. Once the chocolate has melted, add the Grand Marnier (you could use rum or your favorite type of liquor).

  6. 6

Pour it into a pan lined with parchment paper, and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes to harden.

  7. 7

Cut into your desired shapes with a warm knife, and coat with cocoa powder.

  8. 8

This is Grand Marnier. It's an orange liquor. If you don't have it, you could use rum or other kinds of liquor for delicious truffles.
