Steps
- 1
Roast both peanuts and sesame seeds. Keep aside.
- 2
Once cool remove the husk of peanuts.
- 3
Add jaggery and little water in a pan and boil till you get a thick consistency. Add 2 tsp sugar too to get extra cruchiness. I used organic jaggery so the color is dark.
- 4
Keep on checking the syrup till you get a crunchy consistency.
- 5
Once you get the correct consistency add both sesame and peanuts and mix quickly. Then transfer to a greased plate and with a bowl press and flatten the mixture and cut in rectangular shapes when it is hot.
- 6
Once cool separate each piece and store it in a box.
