Sicilian Cannoli (without lard or Marsala)
Absolutely delicious.

Separate the beaten egg into two bowls.

Mix the flour with all the other shell ingredients.

Roll out the dough and fold it over a few times.

Shape the dough around metal cannoli tubes to form cylinders.
- 5
Fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Mix the ricotta with chocolate chips.
- 7
Fill the cannoli shells with the ricotta mixture.
- 8
Top with chopped pistachios.
