Pineapple Ginger and Lemon Juice

This fresh juice is not only refreshing and calming, Its all natural and healthy as there is no addition of artificial sweeteners and preservatives. I made sure to utilize the pineapple skin because of its immense nutritional benefit. The pineapple skin is rich in Vitamin C which can improve the overall immunity of the body, aid digestion and strengthen the bones amongst others.

Wash Pineapple thoroughly. Peel and dice into cubes. Blend with fresh ginger until smooth. You can also use a juicer for this. Add honey (optional) and blend.

Cook the pineapple peels with water for about 15 minutes. Strain the pineapple blend to remove the chaff if using a blender. Add thinly cut lemon slices (half of a lemon) to the juice.

Add freshly squeezed lemon juice (the other half). Strain the juice from the pineapple peel and add to the juice. Stir together and serve chilled.
