Easy Teriyaki-Style Salmon

This is a recipe that uses my recipe for Japanese-Style Dressing (for my daughter Mii).
Don't overcook the salmon or it will dry out.
If you're making the Japanese-style dressing just for this recipe, make the dressing at Step 5, without adding oil. Recipe by Team yokin
Easy Teriyaki-Style Salmon

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the salmon into easy-to-eat pieces. Season with salt and pepper (optional, only if you're using raw salmon) and coat with flour.
- 2
Heat some oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the salmon on both sides. Make sure the skin gets nice and crispy. Wipe away any excess fat from the frying pan.
- 3
Add the dressing to the pan, and coat the salmon pieces in it. The recipe for the Japanese-style dressing (that I make for my daughter Mii) is here -.
- 4
This is the old top photo. The dressing has some oil in it, so some will be left in the frying pan. Transfer the salmon to serving plates, taking care not to scoop up any oil with it.
- 5
To make the dressing (if you don't have any made in advance), mix together: 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon oil (see "Tips") 1/2 tablespoon sugar a little pepper

Salmon Lemon Teriyaki Salmon Lemon Teriyaki
Buri (amberjack) teriyaki is standard, but salmon teriyaki is delicious too, so I gave it a refreshing twist by adding lemon juice. This yields a generous amount of lemon teriyaki sauce, but I recommend this amount since you can mix it with the salad, too. Adjust the amount of honey to taste. Sugar is OK, too. You can use soy milk or normal milk instead of yogurt. Recipe by Renbasu cookpad.japan -

Citrus teriyaki salmon Citrus teriyaki salmon
This is Gordon Ramsay's teriyaki salmon recipe, with a few customizations. Most notably, I added orange juice to the sauce to give it a very slight citrusy tang. It's by no means in-your-face with orange flavour, but it's there lingering in the background and I found it very pleasant. I also added pepper flakes, for a little bit of heat. And sesame oil, for toastiness. And finally, I didn't bother marinating the skin-side of the fish because I peeled it off before serving. It may just be personal preference, but I don't find flabby fish skin very appetizing, even when glazed with an otherwise delicious teriyaki sauce. Robert Gonzal -
Sesame Vinegar Teriyaki Salmon Sesame Vinegar Teriyaki Salmon
I used to prepare my fresh salmon in Western-style dishes. Whenever I prepared it Japanese-style, wrapped in aluminum foil, the taste just wasn't enough to become addictive. So, I added Chinese sweet and sour sauce. It goes so well with rice and is so filling. After adding the sauce, be careful not to burn it.Optionally, drizzle ra-yu for a slightly spicy kick. Making your own teriyaki is well worth the effort. It has a sweet and salty balance that is hard to get in a bottle. But if you'd like you could cut some time out and buy your favorite bottled sauce. I like to serve this with some simple white rice and cruciferous vegetables that are cooked along side the salmon for simple clean up. Lance Wilson -
