Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice the imitation crab stick into 4 equal parts. Don't separate the red and white parts, keep them together and cut as is.
- 2
We're going to make the hair out of cheese. Position the heads so that the white meat from the sliced edges shows on the top and bottom of the face.
- 3
Position the horn If you put a small blob of mayonnaise on the back it will be easier to attach.
- 4
Make the eyes and mouth with seaweed and cheese and the cheeks with ham or fish sausage.
- 5
I used these punches to cut out the facial features. You can find them in dollar stores.
- 6
When sticking the nori seaweed onto the cheese, use a toothpick with a wet tip to easily move the seaweed to the center of they eye.
- 7
Arrange all the parts and you're done.

When I first saw Kumamon, he reminded me of my recipe for "Black Rilakkuma" so I thought I could probably make it.It's hard for small children to bite through nori seaweed so I would suggest sticking a smaller amount of nori seaweed over the top, if you're serving this to younger folks. These are the two main characters from "Youkai-Watch," which my son has been into recently.I tweaked it so it's as easy as possible to make.I used a sewing needle when cutting the sliced cheese. When cutting seaweed paper, overlap it with the stencil and use a cutter knife.Arrange the pieces together by following the stencil image!Place the characters on top of the rice balls after they are cooled off! It's easy if you prepare the characters a day beforehand. These are cute and delicious.Place the shiso so its top side shows when the roll is cut. This will make the roll more attractive. You can add sliced cheese into the roll if you want.If you worry about the lunchbox in the summer or autumn heat, you can lightly cook the rolls after completing step 5. Heat sesame oil in a pan over low heat and cook the rolls covered with a lid. Recipe by Iku.. cookpad.japan -

A Halloween themed character bento. Halloween is nearly over, but I made this especially and shared it here.If you use parchment paper to trace a house and use it as a pattern for the nori, you won't mess up. I mixed prawns into the rice. The veggie mix is under the shapes so it can't be seen. For 1 serving. Recipe by Yurimanma cookpad.japan -
