Ingredients

  1. (1) Rack Beef Back Ribs
  2. Salt and Pepper
  3. Cookies BBQ Sauce
  4. (1) Can Beer

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prep the ribs, cut into 3 or 4 rib portions. With pliers strip off the membrane on back of ribs. Salt and pepper all sides.

    Preheat smoker to 235 degrees.

    Place ribs in smoker. Smoke for 3 hours.

  4. 4

    Remove ribs, make a foil pouch with heavy duty foil. Coat ribs with BBQ sauce, place in pouch. Pour in a can of beer. Seal pouch tight.

    Place pouch back into 235 degree smoker, smoke another 2 hours.

  6. 6

    Remove ribs from pouch, discard pouch and liquid. Coat ribs again with BBQ sauce, place back into 245 degree smoker, smoke another 2 hours.

    Remove ribs, let sit 20 minutes. Cut ribs into singles. Serve with baked potato, baked beans and salad. Or whatever you prefer.

. Check out my recipes as I add them. I bake, cook many types of food and I love to Smoke beef and pork. I use an offset wood smoker with an Bluetooth digital thermometer. If im feeling lazy I just go to my son's house and use his Traeger Grill. 😁 Fire and forget is boring LoL but yummy also. As the saying goes, " It's hot, brown and lots of it". I'm also working on a small cookbook for family. ❤️
