Dinosaur Bread Stegosaurus

I just thought it'd be fun if I made some dinosaur shaped bread.
It's better if the stegosaurus has a high back otherwise he starts to look like a lizard.
The dough may come apart easily, so make sure to fix it all together securely.
You can try and cut a mouth out if you prefer.
It takes time to get the right shape so try challenging yourself with only 1 or 2 at a time. Recipe by pitachan1

Cooking Instructions
- 1
After the dough has rested, roll out with a rolling pin into a circle shape. Fold over the 4 sides to create a diamond shape and roll again.
- 2
Fold in half into a triangle and press the edges together firmly. Make 4 vertical slits along the bottom edge with a knife.
- 3
Use these slits to cut off a big triangle of dough to create a tail, a smaller triangle at the head and neck and the dough between the stegosaurus' legs.
- 4
Gather the cut off dough into a ball and roll it out. Make an incision that just stops short of the full diameter of the circle. Open the circle outwards and cut out 3 triangles each side for the spikes.
- 5
Open out the cut dough to create the back of the stegosaurus.
- 6
Transfer to a baking tray and let it rise a second time using the oven's bread proofing function. When finished, begin to preheat the oven.
- 7
Whilst the oven is heating up, try adding detail with a decoration pen or nori seaweed. You can find a decoration pen recipe here:.

- 8
Put all your pieces together and bake your stegosaurus in the oven. You can draw on his expression afterwards if you prefer.
- 9
I added matcha into the mix to give my stegosaurus a green color. Have fun coming up with your own ideas!
- 10
Check out this gang! Stegosaurus, triceratops, brachiosaurus and parasaurolophus.

Christmas Santa Claus Bread Christmas Santa Claus Bread
When I uploaded my recipe for reindeer bread previously, it got a great response. I thought that Santa Claus bread would make a good match to creative a festive air.If you put the piece of bread that defines the hat just on the edge of the face bread, it may fall off during the 2nd rising, so place it a bit on the inside of the outer edge. It does take some effort to form the bread, so make sure not to let the dough dry out while you work. You could also draw on the face using a chocolate decorating pen. Dark Bread Dark Bread
A savory dark bread we used dipping into our chili. If you use vinegar in this recipe remember it's acidic. Acid counters yeast and hinder it's rising, but it also counters gluten and breaks it down and cause it to become very sticky and a bit harder to work with. It's a welcomed flavour to this bread. A couple of tablespoons of vinegar about 3% acidity would be nice. skunkmonkey101
