Melt the butter, transfer to a bowl. Add your warm milk, sugar, egg, yeast and stir. Let it rest for 5 minutes to activate the yeast.

Then, add your sifted flour and salt and mix it together to form a smooth dough. Cover and allow it to rise until it doubles its size.

Flour a table or clean space and knead the dough again to remove air bubbles. Divide the dough into halves, roll each half and use a doughnut cutter to cut it. Allow it to rise again.

Heat up the oil on low heat and fry both sides. Be careful not to over fry it. Serve hot.
