LINE Characters for your Charaben ︎

This is for my husband's bento. It was so simple even without using a mold.
Adding katakuriko to the egg to make usuyaki tamago will prevent it from tearing easily.
If you don't have a cutter for the carrot, you can use a toothpick or scissors. For Moon's cheeks, you can use ham or ketchup as well. Recipe by syo_ya

Steps
- 1
Wrap up the rice tightly in plastic wrap and squish it into a round shape. You will be wrapping up Sally with an egg crepe, so if you mix her rice with ketchup, it's even more delicious!
- 2
Heat up some oil in a frying pan and, mix the beaten egg with a pinch of katakuriko, and make 1 egg crepe. Wrap the egg crepe around the rice ball for Sally
- 3
Cut a slice of carrot about 2.3 mm thick. Put it into a plastic bag with a bit of water and heat in the microwave for 1.5 minutes. Use a long oblong cutter to cut out a piece of the carrot.
- 4
Use scissors to cut out facial features from the nori seaweed. Put on top of the still-wrapped rice balls to check the sizing.
- 5
Remove the plastic wrap, place the facial features on, and position the rice balls in the bento box to finish. This time, I used sakura denbu for Moon's cheeks.
- 6
You can assemble the faces the night before and wrap lightly in plastic. In the morning, just microwave and pack into the bento box.
