Christmas Party Drink

There are a lot of opportunities to throw parties around the end of the year and I wanted to surprise my guests with a welcome drink.
Make this drink however sweet you'd like. If you want it to have a more subtle sweetness you can omit the honey and reduce the amount of sugar. You can make a diverse range of flavours by adding a squeeze of lemon juice or a dash of grapefruit juice etc. Recipe by Cake to pan no sensei

Steps
- 1
Dissolve the gelatin in water.
- 2
Add the sugar and honey into a saucepan along with the white wine. Bring the mixture to a boil and boil off the alcohol.
- 3
Turn off the heat, add the dissolved gelatin and stir well.
- 4
Put the mixture in a tray or container and leave to set in the fridge.
- 5
Mash the mixture up with a fork to create the crushed jello and add it to some glasses along with your preferred type of berry.
- 6
Keep the glasses chilled in the refrigerator until just before your guests arrive. Fill the glass with champagne or carbonated water to serve.
- 7
You could also add the mixture into some small cups and enjoy them as a jello-like dessert.
