White rice and lamb peppersoup

In a pot heat the oil,add the sliced onion,ginger and garlic pastes, crushed pepper and cloves. Stir fry until the onion looks pale. Add the chopped tomatoes and stir.Add the curry powder, peppersoup spice and thyme and stir. Add salt to taste and crumble in the seasoning cubes and stir. Add water enough to cook the meat. Cover and allow to come to a boil.add the washed meat and stir. Cover and cook for 45mins, checking at intervals.

Rinse the Irish potatoes and add then cook for another 15mins. Serve with the cooked white rice.
