Mix all the ingredients for making batter except water in a mixing bowl. Make batter by adding water slowly of pouring consistency.

Wash, peel and grate raw potatoes in Lachha. Sprinkle chaat masala on it.

Heat a griddle. Grease it with butter. Place a ladle full of lacha and spread it in round. Now pour gram flour batter and spread on Lachha evenly. Spread some batter around the Lachha so that it is covered fully. Add butter all around it. Cover it with a lid and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.

After 2-3 minutes check it and carefully move the spetula all its corners. and place a plate over it and flip it upside down carefully.

It will come on plate.

Now again grease the griddle with butter and carefully place it o. Griddle and roast from other side also till crispie golden brown.

Serve hot with Tomato ketchup.
