Pour Oil in pan. Wait till smoke comes out.
Rub fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder after washing. - 2
Put fishes in pan for frying. Fry them in high-medium flame. Fry them golden. Take out on a plate.

Chop Tomato into slices. Temper oil with 1 tsp Paanchphoron.

Put the tomato slices. Fry them. Add the poppy seed-mustard paste. Add water. Cook till water starts boiling.

Add fried fish pieces and lower the flame. Cook for few minutes more.
