Ingredients

  • 120 gramsmoong dal
  • 60 gramschana dal
  • 2 cupswater for soaking
  • 1 inchginger chopped
  • 2green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 1/2 tspsalt or add as required
  • as requiredOil for deep frying
  • as requiredGreen chutney
  • 1 cupwhite radish grated
  • 2 tbspcoriander leaves finely chopped
  • As per taste Chaat masala

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and clean the yellow moong dal and chana dal in a deep bowl and soak it in enough water for 5-6 hours or overnight.

  2. 2

    Drain all the water and add the soaked dal in a grinder or blender jar.

  3. 3

    Add ginger, cumin seeds and chopped green chilli.

  4. 4

    Transfer the batter to the large mixing bowl.

  5. 5

    Before frying, take the batter and add hing and salt.
    Mix well.

  6. 6

    Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai

  7. 7

    On a medium flame, fry the pakoras until golden in color.

  8. 8

    Remove from oil and set it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

  9. 9

    In individual serving bowls or plates, take 7 to 8 ram ladoo.

  10. 10

    Top them with green chutney. You can add less or more. you can also add sweet tamarind chutney

  11. 11

    Then top up with the grated radish & coriander leaves

  12. 12

    Sprinkle some chat masala.
