Ingredients

  1. 2medium sized potatoes or 1large potato
  2. as requiredPuffed rice
  3. As neededRoasted peanuts
  4. as neededSev
  5. 1Onions
  6. 1Tomatoes
  7. as per tasteChaat masala
  8. as per tasteLemon juice
  9. as requiredSalt
  10. as requiredCoriander leave
  11. as neededPomegranate
  12. as per taste3 kinds of chutney sweet chutney, green chutney And red chutney

  1. 1

    Boil 1large potato or 2medium sized potatoes in a 2litre pressure cooker or in a pan with enough water. If using a pressure cooker then pour water just about covering the potatoes sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt and pressure cooker for 4to 5 whistle. Once the pressure settles down in the cooker remove the water and place the potatoes in a bowl. Let them cool

    Peel and chop the potatoes finely chopped 1small to medium sized Onion and 1medium sized Tomato you can also chop 1green chilli if you want chop some coriander leaves too

  3. 3

    Take 2cups puffed rice in a pan. On a low flame stirring often dry roast the puffed rice. roast the puffed rice if they are not crisp. If they are not crisp and crunchy then you do not need to roast them.

    In a bowl now take the chopped boiled potatoes onions And tomatoes

  5. 5

    Add sweet chutney, green chutney and red chutney. You can add the quantity of chutney as per the taste you want in a bhelpuri

  6. 6

    For a spicy bhel puri receipe Includemore of the red chutney and green chutney for a sweet taste add more of the sweet chutney

  7. 7

    Sprinkle 1/2to1teaspoon chaat masala and 1/2teaspoonroasted peanuts also sprinkle some black salt as per taste

    Drizzle 1/2to1teaspoon lemon juice or accordingto taste

  9. 9

    Mix very well

  10. 10

    Now add 1table spoon masala chana (optional) an 2table spoon roasted peanuts. At this step you can also top up with some crushed puri or papdi

    Add puffed rice

  12. 12

    Add 1/4cupsev add Pomegranate also

  13. 13

    Serve bhel puri immediately in a individual bowl or plates. Top up with some sev, puri or papdi and more coriander leaves. If you don't serve bhel puri immediately then it will become soggy and you won't enjoy it. So be quick in serving
