Pindi chole is one of the easiest and tasty dry chole recipe where soaked chickpeas cooked with less spices.

Soak the chole for 8 hours.

Boil the soaked chickpeas with the whole spices, salt in a pressure cooker for 10-15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion and ginger-garlic paste.

When the raw aroma disappears then add all the spice powders.

Saute for a minute on a low flame, then add the boiled chickpeas and mix it well with the masala.

Add salt and let the chickpeas cook for 5 to 7 minutes in the masala on a low flame

Serve pindi chole hot with onion rings, green chillies and lemon wedges accompanied with naan, bhatura or puri.
