Ingredients

  1. For the dry mix
  2. 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  3. 1 cupcaster sugar or powder sugar
  4. 1 tbspbaking powder
  5. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  6. 1 cupsweetened cherry
  7. For the wet mix
  8. 1 cupmelted butter
  9. 1 cupmilk
  10. 5-6 dropsvanilla extract

    Preheat your microwave oven in 180°c/ 350°f for at least 10 minutes in convection mode.

    At this time take a large bowl for dry mix. Sift all the dry mix (flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda) in the bowl and set aside.

    Take another large bowl and mix butter and milk using a whisker or a stand mixer. Add 5 to 6 drops of vanilla extract and whisk it for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Now add the dry ingredients bit by bit to the wet mix.

  5. 5

    Add some sweetened cherry and mix well.

  6. 6

    Whisk for 2 to 3 minutes or until lump free. Do not over beat.

  7. 7

    Now grease a cake tin with some butter and flour.

  8. 8

    Pour the cake mixture into the cake tin and decorate with some fresh cherry or dried cherry.

  9. 9

    Now Bake it in 180°c for 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick comes clean.

  10. 10

    Remove the cake from microwave and let it cool down for some time

  11. 11

    When the cake comes to its room temperature. Remove it from the cake tin by scrapping the outer area or corner.

    Now decorate the cake with some caster sugar and chocolate syrup.
