Ingredients

20 minutes
2 people
  • 100 gram quinoa
  • as requiredWater to soak
  • As neededWater to boil
  • Quinoa rice recipe
  • 2 tbspolive oil/ sesame oil/ vegetable oil
  • 2spit green chilli
  • 1/2 tspjeera(Cumin seeds)
  • 1/2 cupchopped onion
  • 1/2 cupgreen peas
  • 1/2 Cupcapsicum
  • 1/2 cupcarrot
  • as per tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/4 tbspjeera powder
  • 1/4 tbspdhania powder
  • 1/4 tspchat masala (optional)
  • 1 tbsppav bhaji masala/ Maggi Masala
  • 1/2lemon juice
  • 1 tspsesame seed to garnish
  • as requiredCoriander leaves to garnish
  • as per tasteRed chilli powder (optional)
  • As neededWater while cooking

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Rinse quinoa very well a few times, rinse under running water to remove the bitter component.
    Or you can boil them for about 5-8 min, drain the water and keep it aside and the use it.

  2. 2

    Then take a pan,pour in some olive oil, onions, green chilli and give cook until the onions become tender.

    Then add in Jeera/ cumin seeds, corrot, capsicum, green peas and give it a good stir

    Then add salt as/ taste, dhania powder, Red chilli powder (optional)

    Then add roasted jeera powder, pav bhaji masala or you can use biryani masala.

    Now add boiled quinoa, 1 glass water and cover it with a lid

    Garnish some sesame seeds or coriander leaves.
    Squeeze the lemon and it's ready.
    Note- Yoh can decorate it with some roasted paneer/ tofu sticks to make it healthy

    Enjoy it in your breakfast, meal or dinner.
