Ingredients

20 to 30 min
10 people
  1. 2 cupsall-purpose flour
  2. 1 cupbesan
  3. 1 1/2 cup Caster sugar
  4. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  5. 1 cupmelted butter

Steps

20 to 30 min
  1. 1

    Mix all-purpose flour, besan, powdered sugar in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Melt the butter and add to the flour mix bit by bit or until the mixture bind together well.

  3. 3

    Now arrange the nakhatais. Divide the mixture into portions and make balls using your hands.

  4. 4

    Flatten the balls using your hands and place them in the tray.

  5. 5

    You can make some designs using a fork or skewer and garnish with some nuts. I garnish with some Cashew nuts.

  6. 6

    Preheat your microwave oven for 15mins at 180°c or 350°f

  7. 7

    Now bake the nankhatais for 10mins at 180°c or 350°F.

  8. 8

    Immediately remove the nankhatais to a wire rack and cool them completely.

  9. 9

    Enjoy your nankhatais or you can store this in an air tight container fir 2 to 3 weeks at room temperature.
