Steps

Wash and soak rice and urad dal in water for 7-8 hours or overnight. Then grind in mixer grinder with poha and enough water. Make semithick batter. Cover with lid and put in warm place to ferment for 7-8 hours.

Add salt and green chillies ginger paste. Mix well.

Pour enough water in Dhokla maker and bring it to boil. Meanwhile grease thali with oil. In a tadka pan heat oil. Add sodabicarb and switch off the flame. Add approximate 2 teaspoon water carefully and pour this mixture into batter and mix well soon. Pour this batter into greased thalis and put into Dhokla maker and steam for 15-20 minutes.

Then cut into diagonal or square shape. Serve hot with aam ras and raw oil.
