Moong Dal cooked with Bitter gourd is a Bengali Style Dal Recipe.
Steps

Dry Roast Moong Dal. Wash it. Put it in pressure cooker. Add salt to taste. Add pinch of turmeric powder. Add 1 Tsp Crushed Ginger. Cook for 1-2 whistles.

Pour oil in pan. Chop bitter gourd into slices. Put it in pan for frying. Fry them golden and take out on a plate.

Pour little bit ghee in pan. Temper with 1 Tsp Paanchphoron. Add fried bitter gourd next. Pour the pressure cooked Moong Dal.

Add little bit water. Add salt to taste. Wait till Dal starts boiling. Put off flame.
