Steps

Soak the dal in warm water for 4 hours. Decant the water and mix cumin, carom, green chilli and salt. Grind to a thick paste.

Heat the oil in an iron kadhai. Make balls of urad dal batter and deep fry in low to medium flame.

Immediately drop the vadas in the bowl with salted lassi to make them soft.

Arrange the vadas in a serving plate. Spread the thick curd first on dahi vadas. Then green chutney, tamarind chutney. Garish with pomegranate pearls and serve.
