Cured Ham, Mozzarella and Caper Bruschetta

I composed this recipe as finger food for dinner parties. Pairing wine with cheese in this easy to eat flavorful appetizer.
Prep ahead of time. Do step 2 and keep in a tupperware container. Keep olive oil seasoned with herbs, spices, or salt and pepper; it'll hold for a while. This goes great with a chilled dry white, medium body red, champagne, or aperitif. Recipe by HaradaKiTN

Steps
- 1
Brush each slice of the baguette with your favorite oil (olive oil or margarine) and toast.
- 2
Cut the mozzarella into pieces about the length of your pinky and wrap each piece with a slice of ham. Brushing on a little oil will add shine.
- 3
On each slice of baguette, layer a slice of tomato, a basil leaf, and the mozzarella wrapped in ham. Top with capers and parsley.
