Pour the coconut milk into a pot and heat over medium. Add both curry pastes and stir until well combined. Cook until the coconut milk starts to separate and release oil.

Add the palm sugar and stir until it dissolves completely. Add the ground peanuts and ground cashews, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.

Season with tamarind paste and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
