Ingredients

10 chillas
  1. 2 cupbesan(gram flour)
  2. 1 cupgrated bottle gourd
  3. 1 tspred chilli powder
  4. 1 Tbsponion paste masala with Poppy seeds
  5. 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  6. 1 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1/2 tspcrushed carom seeds
  8. 1green chili, chopped
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. 1 cupgrated lauki
  12. 2 Tbspcurd
  13. 1/3chilli flakes
  14. 1/3 tspgaram masala
  15. as requiredWater to make chilla batter
  16. 1 Tbspchopped green coriander
  17. as per needOil to cook

Steps

30-35 mins
  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients. Add water to make the chills batter. Allow standing for 10 minutes.

    Grease the hot pan. Add laddles of chilla batter and spread in light hand.

    Cover and cook both sides of the chilla.

    Serve hot with imli (tamarind) chutney and watermelon fruits.
