Gizzard Jerky

I found gizzard jerky in a shop and wondered if I could make it at home instead.
Once I made it I realised that it works as an excellent snack.
There aren't really any hints to give. Just marinate and cook. I tend to coat my gizzards in a lot of salt and black pepper. Recipe by Babagarei

I found gizzard jerky in a shop and wondered if I could make it at home instead.

Slice the gizzards in half and cut away any white parts.

Slice the gizzards up as thinly as possible.

Add the gizzards and the seasoning ingredients into a plastic bag and rub the ingredients in. Leave the gizzards to marinate for 1-2 hours.

Line a cooking dish with parchment paper and arrange the marinated gizzards on top so that they don't overlap. Roast the gizzards at 150°C for 1 hour. Turn the gizzards over once during cooking.

Check the flavour and top it up with salt and pepper if necessary. Then it's done (I usually add more salt and pepper at this step myself).
