Soak imli in water for sometime,then remove seeds and extract pulp in water.chop mint,green chillies,coriander.

Fry sliced onion in oil till pink.add all whole garammasala,ginger garlic paste,fry well.add chicken and fry till colour changes.add chopped tomatoes and let it cook till chicken is tender and potatoes are soft.add half of yogurt, imli paste and whole green masala.

Wash and soak rice for least 2 hours.boil till just 1% left.strain.
Spread masala at bottom of pot.spread boiled rice over.mix food colur in remaining half of dahi and spread over rice.spread again masala,rice,foodcolur mix dahi.cover the pot,keep at dam for 8 min at high flame then lowers the flame to slow. - 4
