#MyFirstRecipe...Generally people dont like karela / bitter guord. But it have too much nutritional values. It's a spicy n sour twist to it. Trust me my ltl brother too just luv it.

Steps

Wash bitter guord/ karela properly

Remove skin n slit them and remove all seeds. Apply salt all over and inner side. Keep for 1/2 hr.

Wash them well and cook them with little turmeric and salt.

Roast karela on gas stove well.

Cut it into pieces and crush roughly in mixer grinder or mortar n pestle

Take a bowl add onion, crushed karela, curd, Salt into it.

Crush garlic and chillies in mortar n pestle

Take a tadka pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic chilli paste in really hot oil

Add little turmeric and asofoetida in karela mixture. Do not mix it.

Then add hot oil tadka to the mixture and mix well.

Keep bharta in refrigerator. And serve.
